Knight Photonics provides optical and photonics products for research, development and applied measurement. The company acts as an international distributor, develops and manufactures optical instruments for research projects and oems; acts as project consultants and participates to contribute its experience into the growth of the optical and photonics industry.

Areas of specialisation include fiber optic sensing; optical, spectroscopic, and laser measuring techniques; imaging, and modern optical components. In most cases we aim to provide solutions and integrations to satisfy a particular interest. New Solutions in Spectroscopy from Knight Photonics AVANTES Division

Avasoft 7.4  is the latest version of the prime software for operating  Avantes spectrometers. New features include:-

  • Calculation of colour rendering index (CRI) in  absolute irradiance applications.This is very useful for LED measurements.
  •  Merging option to combine spectra from multichannel spectrometers into one spectrum.

AvaSpec ULS: A new design of  compact UV-Visible-NIR spectrometer with:

  • Ultra low stray light down to 0.04%
  • Superior construction stability with 20x improvement in sensitivity to microbending
  • Improved thermal stability
  • Multiple configuration options (200 - 1100 nm)

Avantes now offers four preconfigured UV-Visible-NIR spectrometers FROM STOCK

AvaSpec 256:   Near Infra red fiber optic spectrometers up to 2.5 microns, including a newly developed optical platform.

AvaSpec-NET: A new versastile system, to link many spectrometers together using "USB2-synch" or "bluetooth wireless link".

  • The manufacturing section of Knight Photonics has now released a new portfolio of optical interfaces between spectrometers and samples . These include cryogenic accessory for Raman, Pharmaceutical tablet handling for all spectrometers including Raman, New versatile, and temperature controlled sample compartments for demanding spectroscopic applications. New fibre optic and fibreoptic probe handling and measurement geometric interfaces. These devices can be conveniently linked with many types of spectrometer and optical instrument to allow more demanding measurements 
  • Dedicated Spectroscopic Micro Analytical Sensors [research and applied]; includes fibre optic terminations for specific analytes, both hologram and sol gel based; extrinsic interfacing for intellegent compound analysis.
  • Optical analytical  interfacing  for NANOMATERIALS RESEARCH   
  • Multipoint sensing and multiplexing for on line and vacuum industrial applications.
